Ok so this is the last shot in my Bored in Hong Kong series… unfortunately there’s not much to see from the section of the airport we’re in and I was a little nervous that I was looking suspicious taking heaps of photos of the airport

I walked around the terminals a bit but couldn’t really get a good shot of the city at night… we saw a little of the city as we flew in and this would be an awesome city to check out… might have to organise a little trip here sometime

So we’re at the airport and there’s about 5 hours between our arrival and departure. Unfortunately we not ones for long meals so as good as the Yum Cha is it only killed about half an hour. Having said that it was awesome Yum Cha and the service was quick and friendly (take note Sunnybank Chinatown!).

So that still left a few hours waiting for the next plane. The trip was almost over so I just felt like playing with the camera a bit before having to go back to work…

I can’t sleep on planes… which is a bit of a problem when you travel from Germany to Switzerland to Hong Kong to Australia all in one session. All up there was over 30 hours of travelling in a row which gets a bit nasty.

Hong Kong was on the last leg home for us. We had already been travelling for 24 hours in a row and I needed to stay awake in Honk Kong airport so keeping myself amused was a bit of a priority.

This shot was one of those ones where I was mucking around to stay awake.

Black Forest Cuckoo Clock Shop – very random This is a German Cuckoo clock shop near Eask. Apart from the millions of Cuckoo clocks it also has a lot of hand made German gear…

We were on our way from Yulara to Alice Springs and found this Giant Echidna at a service station – i think it was the one at Erldunda – just off the Stuart Highway???
He’s pretty cool… I love big stuff… every town should have something big on display.
All they need now are some giant ants to feed the giant echidna
