This is another shot of Uluru from the sunset viewing area. As some of the clouds move out of the way you can see a wave of orange / red rock show up.
The sunrise and sunset viewing platforms attract a large crowd of people. Some of the people we talked to had watched the sunrise and sunset three times in a row?!?
The other good thing is that there are two sunset viewing areas – one for cars and one for tour buses. This is one of the few times where the cars actually get a better deal – the viewing area for the tour buses is much further back
