So the tree’s not really that freaky but a little photoshop does make it look a little menacing 
I think this is another mulga tree… they’re everywhere in the Northern Territory. They are hardwood tree that can last for decades once they have died.
It’s amazing the amount of life there is in the desert – especially at the top of rocky canyons.
