So it’s day 2 of our trip and we’re driving to Kings Canyon. We thought that taking the Stuart Highway south would be a little boring so we took Larapinta drive to the east and headed towards the Mereenie Loop.
Larapinta drives runs alongside the West MacDonnell ranges so there’s a few places to stop and check out on the way.
It was only about 8am when I stopped and took this photo – I just couldn’t help myself because of the soft glow on the countryside.
There was also a marathon on whilst we were driving along Larapinta drive… crazy people don’t you know how hot it is!!!
