View From Back Of Our Hotel - The Comfort Inn Outback

We had a few dramas with our hire car – the remote entry wasn’t working on the first car so Avis gave us a new Ford Falcon… woohoo!
So we drove back into town in our new Ford Falcon to the Comfort Inn Outback and checked in. Funnily enough we had issues with our room key next and had to get replacement keys… looks like we just don’t have much luck with keys I guess :P

Alice Springs is surrounded by the MacDonnell ranges. This is the view of some of the ranges that spanned the back of the motel. These are pretty small rock faces compared to most of the ranges as the town is built on a flat part in the middle of the ranges.
Did I mention how hot it is? Not to mention dry… glad we came in winter :D
